  3. On 10/24/20 there were some crashes and a crash on the Edda server, so we contacted the server host company. The company reported that there was a failure in the SQL system that affected some customers. The company asked for a deadline until 10/26/20 to analyze the problem and to reestablish the services provided. On 10/26/20 we received a communication from the company informing that the service had been reestablished. It was then that I went to check the status of the server and verified that they gave a roolback in our bank. This affected the entire server due to this roolback of a few days. We tried with the company a solution for this, since it would affect many players and a huge loss for both players and the server. The company was unfortunately unable to restore a more recent backup. They reported that this was the most recent backup they had and that other backups were stored on a damaged HD. We had the recent backup but the company for some reason deleted our backup. (Unfortunate...) The server has already been migrated to a new, more reliable company so that it doesn't happen again. Unfortunately items and characters that were acquired during this roolback interval have been lost and recovery will not be possible due to lack of database. With all this happening, we created a unique Ultra Supreme Gift Box for current Edda players, both newbies and veterans: To receive this Gift just talk to the NPC Divine Maysel, who is in (Prontera, 150,179) until 11/13/20. Upon opening the Gift the player will receive all the items listed above. To Donate players who have invested in the server, we will refund all the Cash Points lost during this roolback to their accounts. If the player has received the Gift Donate, then he will receive it again, including all the exclusive stuffs and Customs. A mesma relatou que ocorreu uma falha no sistema SQL que afetou alguns clientes. A empresa pediu um prazo até o dia 26/10/20 para analisar o problema ocorrido e para que restabelecessem os serviços prestados. No dia 26/10/20 recebemos um comunicado da empresa informando que o serviço havia sido restabelecido. Foi então que fui verificar o status do servidor e verifiquei que eles deram um roolback em nosso banco. Isso afetou todo o servidor devido a este roolback de alguns dias. Tentamos junto a empresa uma solução para isso, uma vez que afetaria muitos jogadores e um prejuízo enorme para tanto jogadores quanto o servidor. A empresa infelizmente não foi capaz de restaurar um backup mais recente. Informaram que este era o mais recente backup que tinham e que outros backups eram armazenados em um HD que foi danificado. Nos tínhamos o backup recente mas a empresa por algum motivo, apagou nosso backup. (Lamentável...) O servidor já foi migrado para uma nova empresa mais confiável para que isso não se repita. Infelizmente itens e personagens que foram adquiridos neste intervalo de roolback foram perdidos e não será possível a recuperação devido a falta de base de dados.
